Mel Asberry's RV-6 and Murphy Renegade



The unfinished bi-plane began life in 2005 as a plans built Murphy Renegade but with many, many modifications. Mel has yet to decide what to call it...ha-ha! Finish date is "unknown".
Of course our 14 year old baby is an RV-6, finished in 1993. Still flies great and has afforded us with many happy flying hours punctuated with a few moments of sheer terror, not unlike any other flying machine. (The terror, as most always the case, was weather, not the airplane)
