Omri Kalinsky's APIS M

My project is an APIS M. It's a composite single seat self launching glider. It sports 15 meter wings with blended winglets, a 40:1 glide ratio, full span flaperons with reflex settings and I'm getting it equipped with electrically actuated rectractable main wheel. Here is a link with the basic description http://www.apisgliders.com/ApisSelfLaunch.html. And here's another with the specs http://www.apisgliders.com/M_Specs.html. I attached a few photos of some of them already flying. I'm gonna put it together in my garage.

About myself, well I'm a 27 year old software engineer living in Frisco. As a pilot, I hold a commercial glider rating and a private ASEL. I fly out of Southwest Soaring (www.southwestsoaring.com) in Caddo Mills, TX and will shortly start working part time on weekends for them giving glider tours. I have a total of 370 hours, 140 in gliders and 230 in powered airplanes. I currently fly Grob 102 and Grob 103 gliders. I've also flown Cessna 172s and Piper Archers. I started flying december 2002, earned my private ASEL July 2003, earned my glider private April 2006 and earned my commercial glider rating Feb 2007.
